Time to give something back. Drilling right in front of my house. Because internet cable was broken. Used the opportunity to mic it up. Recording made from inside. Drilling is about 5m away with a wall in between. You can hear my son about halfway through way in the background. But thought i wouldn't cut up the sample. Recording using 2 x gefell m930 in ortf stereo. No processing. Use freely. Would appreciate attribution if you use it, but not mandatory.

This is the sound of an electric knife sharpener sharpening a knife. Recorded with a sony pcm-d100 in stereo.

I grabbed a metal mallet (mini sledgehammer) and dropped in on cement in various ways. Lightly and a bit harder. Recorded into my ntg3 in a garage sectioned off. Signal to noise ratio was really good because it was a loud sound. H5 was my recorded. Cleaned some hum using rx4. Boom!. Pretty please, post a link if you use this file. I asked my dental hygienist if i could recorder her cleaning my teeth. I was lying down in the dentist's chair, with a zoom h2 (xy-stereo, 96khz, 24bit) on my belly pointing upwards. I didn't manage to record the scraping tool (that hook), but i did record:1. The cleaning tool (vibrating, high to very high pitches)2. The polishing tool (spinning?, not so loud i think)3. That thing that constantly sucks away saliva.
